International Champion of Greenovet 2nd Competition Austria 2024

Yes, we became the final champions of the Greenovet 2nd International Competition.

From being regional champions in Finland, we jumped straight to Graz, Austria, for a 1-week boot camp.
With a completely new challenge and a new team, I had to collaborate with teammates from Portugal, North_Macedonia, Germany, Austria, Finland and myself from Bangladesh.

➡️ Our challenge for the final was to “Design a laptop with a comprehensive End-of-(first)-Use strategy.”

The aim was to develop a prototype laptop that showcased innovation in laptop design while integrating environmentally conscious practices across its lifecycle.

We designed a laptop that is:
– Ergonomic in design
– Technologically advanced
– Fused with end-of-life usage considerations
– Sustainable for long-term use

With 30 participants coming from 11 different nationalities and many new innovative ideas, it was such a fun and energetic event.
While I have personally experienced winning regional/national level competitions back in my country, this was the first time I achieved something international.

– Lastly, thanks to GREENOVET for organizing this event and especially for the enjoyable 1-week tour in Austria.

I will join my team again in Graz for the next visit in June for the conference.
